Honestly, this has been the best vacation experience of our lives, and you all got most of the credit. We knew all along how amazing it would be to be aboard Mischief, but we had no idea how wonderful it would be to spend the week with you. From the incredible packing skills to the fun water sports, to the gorgeous meals + drinks to your welcoming smiles (with cool towels!), you all will never be forgotten. Growing up in the North of England, Will started sailing at the tender age of 6 and has not looked back since.
After graduating with a Mechanical Engineering Degree, he went on to run a fleet of yachts in Greece. Looking for new experiences he set off for the Caribbean to Captain some of the highest standard charter yachts before wider cruising in South America, Pacific and beyond. He is now enjoying the command of this world class Motor Yacht, Mischief. His extensive charter experience includes over 150 weeks of charter as Captain.
When Will is not working, he enjoys spending time with his young family, watersports such as kitesurfing, and sipping on an ice-cold g&t from his extensive gin collection.
Born on a small sailing boat off the coast of Brazil, Luke grew up on the Caribbean island of St Maarten.
Growing up in a Superyacht Capital, Luke was exposed to the world of yachting at a very young age, creating a deep lying passion for the industry.
He has worked diligently over the past 10 years in order to receive his Master’s License, enabling him to assume the role of Captain on-board his last Motor Yacht, Highlander. He comes with years of charter experience and encourages a positive, team orientated environment.
When Luke isn’t working on board Mischief, you’ll find him out on the water kitesurfing and diving. He is also very passionate about video editing and enjoys flying his drone any chance he gets.
Dan was born and raised in the beautiful county of Surrey in England.
His passion for water sports guided him to the yachting industry at the age of 21, providing him now with over a decade of experience from luxury yachts of all shapes and sizes.
Before joining the yachting industry, Dan was a professional gymnast, competing at an international level for Great Britain. Still to this day he enjoys the thrill of a somersault, be that on a kiteboard, snowboard or simply into the sea.
When Dan is not working on board, he is at home in Cornwall with his wife and newest addition to the family, a beautiful golden retriever called Maple.
Dean is from the sunny city of Durban, South Africa where he is born to a Portuguese father and a South African mother.
As he was growing up on the East coast of South Africa, he was fortunate enough to spend every day on and in the water. He started his professional career as a fishing- and dive boat skipper, dive instructor and professional shark diver. His passion for the water and love for boats led him to joining the yachting industry.
When Dean is not working, he enjoys spending time with his young family. He is also passionate about free- and SCUBA diving, Spearfishing and Clay Pigeon shooting.
Marin hails from the beautiful southern Croatian town of Split.
After working for 13 years in the commercial shipping industry, he decided to transition to the world of private superyachts in search of a new venture. With over 10 years of experience as Chief Engineer on prestigious boats such as Motor Yacht Iman and Motor Yacht Siaram, Marin brings incredible work ethic, knowledge, and of course interesting stories from years of travel on the sea.
Outside of yachting Marin spends quality time with his wife and two children at home in Croatia. He is passionate about fishing, hunting and most importantly, motorsports.
Kieran was born and raised in the UK. He has devoted the past 17 years to being an engineer in the yachting industry.
During this time, he has had the pleasure of cruising such parts of the world as Alaska and Antarctica, but found his home berth to be Palma de Mallorca with his wife and two children. Kieran’s years of experience make for great story telling, keeping his guests always entertained.
Outside of Mischief, he enjoys many outdoor pursuits such as swimming, skiing and mountain trekking. He also has a passion for cooking and loves sampling food from many different cultures and cuisines around the world. Kieran personifies a work hard, play hard attitude.
English born Alan grew up in Kent in the United Kingdom.
He started his career as an aerospace engineer working as a technician for Lufthansa Airline. After 12 years in the industry he decided to make the move from land to yachting. 9 years have passed and he has never looked back.
Alan has just purchased a beautiful house in Northumberland, UK, where he spends most of his down time cycling and running as well as working on wood carving and leatherwork projects.
Stuart was born and raised on the sunny south coast of Durban, South Africa.
Prior to yachting Stuart worked as a mechanical fitter and contractor before arriving in Palma in the spring of 2014 in search of his first yachting job. Stuarts sea adventures have taken him around the world to many incredible destinations such as the Fjords of Norway, the Pacific and the Caribbean. With years of busy charter experience on Motor yacht Jo, Stuart always gives a 110% with every guest his highest priority.
When he isn’t on board Mischief, his wife and ‘mini-me’ son take first preference.
Jono grew up on the waters of Cape Town, South Africa.
Before he joined the yachting industry in 2009, he was a professional go Kart driver, representing South Africa at a national level in Malaysia. Since then, Jono has Captained a 60ft catamaran, cruising various locations around the world. He is currently studying for his Officer’s ticket, in order to move up the ranks. His friendly nature and safety orientated mind-set ensures he is a great water sports instructor for our guests.
Outside of yachting, Jono is a keen triathlete, who especially enjoys cycling, playing golf and not to forget his love for motor sports.
Matt is our latest crewmember from the coastal city of Durban, South Africa.
Matt has been in the industry for over 9 years but decided to take a sabbatical to do something completely different.
He travelled and surfed extensively around the globe for over 18 months and has seen all the continents besides Antarctica, ticking off over 30 countries! Furthermore, Matt enjoys being in and on the water, as he is a certified dive master and a long-distance swimmer. He also represented his province in the South African surfing contest and was a junior champ back in the days.
Nathan is our Kiwi on board. A true hustler and explorer, Nathan spent 2 and a half years backpacking around the globe discovering history and new cultures.
Growing up on a small coastal town on the coast in New Zealand, Nathan’s love for fishing and sailing helped spur his move to the yachting industry. He is currently working towards his Yacht Master certificate to progress forward in his career.
When Nathan has time off, you will always find him staying active playing sports such as rugby and basketball, or snowboarding with friends.
Oliver is our Australian Shepard and youngest crewmember, hailing from Galong, New South Wales.
Straight out of school he decided to make the transition from the sheep farm on which he grew up, into the yachting world. He soon moved to Palma to join the Mischief family where he has begun his ocean travelling adventure. He is a keen fisherman and thoroughly enjoys motocross.
With his friendly nature, Ollie will always be willing to help in any way possible. A great addition to our team.
Riejanneke (Rihanna) grew up in the Netherlands.
Whilst completing her Master’s Degree in Communication Science, she worked seasonally on several yachts before transitioning fulltime into the Yachting industry in 2016. She began her climb to the top on board the prestigious Motor Yacht Queen K, soon progressing to 2nd stewardess in an Interior team of 7. Since joining Mischief in 2018 she has gained even more experience stepping into the position of Chief Stewardess, where she ensures every guest experience is one to remember.
Outside of the yachting industry Riejanneke has a passion for field hockey, where she used to play the highest national level against Dutch internationals. She also thoroughly enjoys snowboarding in the mountains, travelling with friends and fine dining.
Theo is our Romanian Housekeeping Goddess from Oradea.
After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Assistance and Master’s Degree in Human Resources in 2016, she decided to make her move into the yachting industry beginning her journey on Mischief. Over the past 3 years, Theo has shown her love for the industry, with an incredible eye for detail and passion for housekeeping and guest relations.
When Theo isn’t working hard on board, she enjoys activities such as cooking delicious meals, bike riding, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
Marjolein, who we affectionately refer to as Mar, hails from Harmelen, a small countryside town in the Netherlands.
After graduating from university with a Bachelors Degree of science specializing in Nutrition and Dietetics, she worked as a bartender in high end cocktail bars and restaurants. There after she made her move to the yachting industry beginning her search in Palma de Mallorca in the autumn of 2017. She brought with her, an incredible knowledge of cocktails, and talents that enable her to create mouth-watering drinks on board. You will occasionally find Mar experimenting in the galley, applying her nutritional knowledge as well.
When she isn’t on board, Mar is always immediately drawn back to the water, enjoying sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing. She even dabbled in unicycle riding in her younger years.
Lidia grew up in the beautiful city Cape Town, South-Africa. She is part of a big family and is one of a twin.
Her passion for water and diving lead her to the yachting industry, leaving behind her company in handmade jewellery. In her spare time, she enjoys being active and likes outdoor activities like hiking, running, swimming and diving. In the evenings she loves to salsa and cha-cha the night away.
Even though she is still quite new to the yachting industry, she is very willing to grow and work hard to make sure the guests will have a memorable time on board Mischief.
Jesse is from Tasmania, the island below Australia with the cleanest air in the world.
Being a culinary chameleon, Jesse enjoys cooking to the taste of his guests serving a wide variety of cuisines and food. Working in the yachting industry for 10 years, Jesse has been to 76 countries, worked on yachts all around Caribbean, east coast USA, Mediterranean, South East Asia and Southern Australia. Besides cooking, allrounder Jesse has extended knowledge in wine, mixology, and as a barista.
As he clearly doesn’t have time for hobbies, being occupied with his partnership in investing property development and start-ups, he does enjoy fishing.
Ben was born and raised in Australia.
He has over 18 years of experience as a chef in top restaurants in London and on board several high-end yachts. He also had his own catering company for 5 years.
He is a keen fisherman and in his time off he enjoys traveling to remote places to thrive in his hobby of sports fishing.
Anton is from west midland in England.
He has been in the yachting industry for 3 months. He has experience cooking in a team onboard for the Monaco Grand Prix, catering for up to 80 people for the event over 4 days, and has worked on a 33m yacht before this step up.
He also has course certifications including STCW95, extended level 3 professional cookery, powerboat license level 2, food safety and hygiene level 2, and eng1 medical.
Anton's hobbies and interests include fishing, travel, music, football, and generally having a good ol' time. Fun facts, Anton's fun!
He's happy to be onboard, and can’t wait to get stuck in to traveling and cooking round the world, making people happy.
